Semester Reflection
The Humanities concepts, readings, or ideas that helped me understand the world and myself better. I think that the sunflower concept really helped me understand the world because in life your not always perfect at something or somethings not perfect until you work on it. Like in dance I dint just show up and know very thing and I certainly was not perfect it it. Its taken me 8n years to get to the advanced class and I still struggle in my class. Or in this class my mask I worked on it for about three hours refining it and redoing it. Or in my in my first violin lesson my teacher told all the kids that “practice makes perfect” and altho I do not leave practice makes perfect it she does make it better. So I think this concept helped me understand myself swell as the world by showing me that I wont always be great at something but at least it can't get worse.
Humanities skills that I have learned that will help me navigate this world. The most beneficial humanities skill I have learned is hooks. In the begging of the year I always red books and wonders how I loved the book so much and how I couldn't stop reading. At the time I kind of knew what a hook was but I didn't know how to wright a good one. Know I am very confident in weighting a good hook. One that will pull the reader in and want the to keep reading what I wrought. This could help me a lot in the future if I need to wright a letter to get a job or just for fun.
The experiences in this class have helped me grow as a human being. I be leave my friends have played a great roll in how I have grown this year. They have helped me find my true friends by sating with me through tuff times and bad days. And have tight be to do the same. I also leave the seminars have helped me as an individual to know that I always can have my one opinion even if some one doesn't agree and they don't judge me for it
